| What do we do? |
The main service that we provide is home based respite. A trained, paid Carer Support Worker will come to your home and take over your caring duties, giving you an essential break. Our service is reliable and flexible. It can be tailored to your needs to give you regular planned breaks of a few hours each week during the day, evening or weekend.

| Our Staff |
Our Carer Support Workers are trained in the techniques of caring for people at home. Their duties can include personal and social care tasks. For example bathing, taking to the toilet, meal preparation and assistance with feeding. Crossroads aims to offer continuity of staff.

| How much will it cost? |
Carers and people with care needs, who meet the eligibility criteria of Social Services or Continuing Health Care, are not charged for the service. Care may also be purchased at an hourly rate of £14.61. ( April 2007 - charges are reviewed annually) Donations allow us to increase the amount of care hours we provide.
